Luxury Loft

We were driving to Prague and had told the host we’d arrive on 21.12. between 12 and 14. After we had an accident on the way, I messaged to say we’d only get there in the evening, around 21. We arrived at 20:50 and called. The host complained that we were late and that her friend had to come back. A man showed up about 15 minutes later and complained too, saying he had to return and had other apartments to deal with. The apartment wasn’t as nice or cozy as the photos. It was actually a different, smaller place that didn’t look nice at all. The man wanted 30€ extra for our dog, which I understood was a standard Prague price, and also asked for a 200€ deposit. Because of the crash, the stress and lack of time, I hadn’t been able to exchange money into euros. I knew we needed to arrive before 22, as stated in the terms, so I offered 1000zl for the deposit, which is more than 200€. They had a big problem with that. The man called the host, and she complained that we were late and unprepared, and that it was the weekend and the office was closed. She said they could take the 200€ from my debit card instead. I thought that was a good solution, but she again made rude complaints about me, even though she knew we’d had an accident. I’ve never had a host complain about their own job and clients like that, or show so little empathy and good manners. We could have been hurt, but she seemed focused on the money and her time. It was an awful experience. They kept the 267€ reservation payment, but I said we wouldn’t stay somewhere we were treated that way. If you expect professional treatment as a paying guest and a nice place to stay, don’t stay at LUXURY LOFT. I’ve stayed in lots of places, but this one was horrible. Luxury Loft sucks. Prague itself is beautiful, and we spent our holiday at Residence Vysehrad instead, a nice place with a good standard and a professional, helpful crew. Best regards to RESIDENCE VYSEHRAD! 😊👍✌
