I spent four nights here in June of 2026 and had a great time, aside from a couple of small annoyances. The room was comfortable and a good deal, with a modern look and black tile in the bathroom. It was quiet at night, the WiFi worked well, and the staff were helpful. The location was another plus, right in central old Prague, around five minutes on foot from the main city square and ten from Charles Bridge. There were loads of restaurants and bars nearby, and the neighborhood was nice. Breakfast was easy to get, with a huge buffet, but a lot of it didn't seem very fresh. I'd have preferred better quality over such a big selection, perhaps with an omelet bar. I also paid for one laundry load of eight items. It came back clean, pressed, and in about five hours, but the price was way too high for that amount of washing. Five pairs of shorts were charged at the jeans and trousers rate because there wasn't a shorts category, which worked out to around $12 USD per pair. They should reconsider both the service and its pricing.

Perla was a good choice for the location, the clean hotel, and the fantastic staff. They were friendly and helpful, and had no problem keeping our luggage for the day when our flight wasn't until late afternoon. Breakfast let you take as much or as little as you wanted, with a huge range: cornflakes, granola, ham, cheese, bread, olives, fruit, local cakes, toast, juices, hot and iced coffee, tea, yoghurt, sausages, bacon, eggs, soup, and more. There are plenty of places to eat within a five minute walk. We tried two Czech restaurants and both were excellent. The hotel is also very central, less than ten minutes from the Old Square and "The Clock," and about ten minutes from Wenslaslas Square. The castle took around a 35 minute walk.

The noise is the main reason I might not stay here again. Bars nearby sent loud, drunken people shouting and singing past our room every single night, and we couldn't get the proper sleep we needed after long days of walking and sightseeing. The hotel is in a fantastic spot, with the metro only a couple of minutes away and attractions within walking distance. Staff were polite and helpful, and breakfast had a great variety. The room itself was nothing special and didn't feel especially clean.

The location made it easy to walk to the main attractions, and public transport was handy for getting to other sights. My room was huge and cleaned every day, though the bathroom was a little small. The shower was big. Reception were friendly and very helpful, breakfast had good options and quality, and I had a great four night stay. I'd happily come back next time and highly recommend the hotel.

The rooms are spacious, warm, and clean, and breakfast has a good range of choices for anyone. Staff were friendly and helpful. It's also a great base, close to the subway, shops, major attractions, and lots of interesting museums. The castle is just a couple of subway stops away. Street traffic and people partying could still be heard through the double glazed windows, so a bit more soundproofing would help with sleep.
