Metamorphis Hotel

We were about five minutes from Old Town Square, which made this a great base for exploring Prague. Our room was spacious, with a nice view over a courtyard and the popular bar just below. The decor felt a little dated, but the hotel was lovely overall, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The young woman at reception was especially kind and helpful. If you want the beer spa or need parking, make sure you book ahead rather than leave it to the last minute. We stayed in a double deluxe room with a balcony. It was roomy, comfortable, and very clean. The hotel sits right in the Old Town, surrounded by restaurants, cafés, bars, and museums. The astronomical clock and other major sights are an easy walk away. Choosing this place was definitely the right decision for us.

Our room, 111, had a large foyer leading out to a terrace balcony with a table and chairs overlooking the inner courtyard. There were separate bathroom and shower rooms, and the room itself was big, with 12 foot ceilings. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The main square was only a two-minute walk away, yet the hotel was far enough from it to stay quiet.

We’d gladly come back to Hotel Metamorphis. The staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean and spacious with comfortable beds. It’s right by Old Town Square, in the heart of Prague.
