MOOo by the Castle

We had a lovely, cozy, clean apartment and no problems during the stay. Communication was really clear, and the service was great. It’s conveniently close to the castle, with the tram not far away on foot.

We’ve already come back once, and I can see us returning again. MOOO by the Castle is a UNESCO property, and the historic feel is there as soon as you arrive. The courtyard is beautiful, full of art, and wonderfully calm for somewhere right in the city. The apartment mixes modern design with the character of an old house. Those hand-painted ceilings are stunning, and the heated bathroom floors, good coffee machine and selection, and all the amenities made things feel easy and luxurious. The bed was so comfortable, with soft down pillows that made it hard to get up. There’s a quirky personality to the place too. The restaurant and cocktail bar are small, creative, and fun, with an interior like an alchemist’s chemical lab. The cow artwork dotted around adds to that memorable feel. Every detail seems chosen for comfort and beauty. Highly recommend.

We only had one night here, and I wish we’d been able to stay longer and enjoy the courtyard, which is beautiful and relaxing. The hotel is cute and charming, updated, clean, and well designed, with comfortable furnishings and the supplies we needed, from toiletries and a hair dryer to kitchen basics and outlets. I’m picky about hotels and this met my standards. I’d definitely recommend it to people visiting Prague. There’s a tram stop down the hill at Malostranska Namesti, not too far away.

This was my favorite place to stay while traveling around Europe. The reception staff were so kind, and the property had a warm, welcoming feel. We loved the area’s distinctive style compared with other parts of Prague, and the location meant we could walk to everything. The amenities were great too, with spot-on attention to detail.
