Hotel Museum

The green subway line A is very close, with three entrances nearby, so the location is really good. Entry is by code or by the concierge pressing a button. When we arrived, a patient blonde woman welcomed us with a smile, kind words, and the service you'd expect. Her replacement didn't manage that, and we immediately ran into technical problems she couldn't fix. The hotel doesn't look like much from outside, but inside it's okay to nice. The entrance is a good-sized room, comfortable enough for its purpose without being fancy. The breakfast room is beside it. It's small, but the hotel only has a few rooms, so it's enough. A little garden leads to the rooms and is quite nice. I can imagine it being a pleasant spot to rest in spring or summer. During our stay, smokers and small groups of guests mostly used it. We didn't see the rest of the hotel beyond the two steps to our room and the room itself. We liked the room when we went in, and still feel good about the room and the hotel overall. It was clean and compact, with a two-part double bed beside the entrance, cupboards, a TV, and a small separate room with a couch and the bathroom door. The windows looked onto the garden. The trouble was that our room sat right in the path of everyone moving around the rooms. Its entrance door was just behind the wall by our bed, and it was an automatic-closing door that often slammed. A few guests were considerate and shut it quietly. Everyone going to their room passed our door, though there weren't that many people, and maybe half of them kept the noise down. The subway runs below these buildings, so we heard it every other minute. My wife managed to tune it out, and I only got used to it on day three. The fridge near the bed hummed every two or three hours for about 15-30 minutes. I learned to appreciate the quiet moments. The beds looked nice, were very clean, and well made, but we both found them much too soft to sleep comfortably. On the first night I tried the couch without extending it, if that's possible, but that didn't work for me either. The bathroom was clean and nice, with fresh towels each day, and had everything we expected and needed. Getting the shower to the right temperature was tricky, but using the hand shower instead of the overhead one made it easier. That's the only downside we found there. Some staff were welcoming and gentle, while others were brisk and focused on the work. The rooms were always cleaned and made up, and breakfast was prepared with a good range of choices. The Wi-Fi failed on three of our four days. Checking out in the morning was a bit of a hassle because we had to find a staff member. It's a nice hotel and garden, with good breakfast and a nice-looking room in a great location. But the sleep we lost and the difficulty finding staff gave us a more negative impression, even though the place is nice and has what you need. If we came again, we'd book an upstairs room facing the garden and wouldn't expect much interaction with staff. Thanks to the kind staff members.

The hotel's close to the train station, with easy access to the AE bus to the airport. Our rooms were warm, clean, and spacious, with plenty of room. The breakfast was amazing, with anything you could want on the menu, and the staff were kind and helpful. We had a great stay.

The room was spacious, comfortable, and had everything we needed, and breakfast offered an impressive range of choices. It's a charming hotel in a convenient spot. Staff could have been a little more polite, though that seemed to be my general experience during my time in Prague.

I recently stayed here on a trip to Prague. The location was great, with nearby tourist attractions within walking distance. Our room was clean and had the facilities we needed, and the service was great. The receptionists, especially the guys, were very friendly. There was a good variety of food, though the dining area was too small. I definitely recommend this hotel.
