Occidental Praha

The hotel was a pleasant place to spend three nights. The rooms were modern and clean, and the beds were comfortable. Staff were very friendly and polite, and breakfast tasted great with a wide selection. The hotel is some distance from downtown, but the location still worked well. The metro is only 10 minutes away, bus stations are right in front, and there are supermarkets and restaurants in the area. I'll definitely choose you for future visits.

We had a lovely two-night stay in the junior suite. Getting into the city was easy, about 25 minutes by public transport to the center, and we really enjoyed the breakfast. One small suggestion: it would help to mark which dishes are vegan, since it isn't always clear whether something contains butter. Other Occidental hotels I've stayed at do this, which makes it easier to know what's suitable.

We slept really well, thanks to the large bed and the quiet, clean room, which also had a bathtub. The staff were attentive, and service felt quick. Breakfast was a real highlight, with a huge range of choices, including vitamin shots and hot dishes. The only drawback for us was how far the hotel is from the city center.

I asked for one bed, but we were given twin beds with no mention of it at check-in. When we went downstairs to ask, the response was condescending, and we were told a single bed depended on availability. I think they should have explained that when we arrived. We then asked whether one might be available the next day and were told they didn't know. We had to keep pushing for someone to check the system for rooms due to check out that day, and it took ages. We ended up having to explain their own job to them. The service was awful, even for basic requests. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
