Old Royal Post Apartments

We spent four nights here with our three young children in a spacious apartment. The two large beds were very comfortable, they kindly provided a cot, and the well-equipped kitchen and washing machine were lifesavers. The area is quiet in a good way, yet the bridge and castle are close, and the hotel somehow feels tucked away from the crowds. Restaurants nearby have great breakfast and brunch options. The staff were friendly, though everything in the apartment worked so seamlessly that we didn't need to speak with them much.

We stayed four nights with our two kids and found the apartment much nicer than I’d expected. There were two double beds, a sofa, and a well-stocked kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, plus two toilets, a shower, and plenty of space for clothes and bags. The sofa bed by the living area had a mattress that was too soft for us. Mala Strana was peaceful, with shops, restaurants, trams, and buses a few minutes away at malostranska namesti. We could walk to Charles bridge, Kampa park, John Lennon's wall, the narrowest ally, Frantz Kafka Museum, and Gingerbread man shop. Trams and buses made it quick to reach old town sqaure, Palladium mall, and Vaclav square. The counter staff were friendly and helpful. We could hear water moving through the thin walls, and brown water came from the tap once. It cleared after a few minutes, though it felt unpleasant. Even with those small issues, we had a very nice stay. Thank you Old Post Royal!

The room was thoughtfully designed, with lovely decor, and the bed was warm and really comfortable. The hotel is tucked into a quiet area, yet Charles Bridge and the other sights are easy to get to. Everyone at reception was so nice. I’d happily stay again and recommend it.

The café next door does the best breakfasts, and the hotel itself was lovely, quiet, and beautifully decorated. My daughter and I spent two nights there and slept well. I’d stay again next time I’m in Prague.
