The old building and worn condition made the stay feel damp and dusty to me, perhaps I’m sensitive to that. Our apartment had a big double bedroom, a reasonably sized single bedroom, a small entrance hall, and a huge bathroom. The equipment was very basic and old, the wooden floor squeaked loudly, there was no TV, and half the bulbs didn’t work. It was reasonably clear, though I did have to wipe dust off one of the cases. Breakfast was very basic, sometimes with hard, rather old pastries, and the dining room felt cold and damp. Still, the price was favourable for such an excellent location in the historic centre. The man running the place was helpful and nice.

The location made it easy to get to both the old town and the city centre, and we had a good stay. Our street-facing room got a little noise from passing people and cars, but otherwise it was very quiet. It had the basics. My friend and I really like hot water and tea, so we missed having a kettle in the room. The Wi-Fi was unreliable where we were, though getting by with a local EU roaming SIM card was easy. Staff brought extra toiletries when we needed them. The manager seemed very young, but knew what he was doing and was keen to suggest places to visit. We really appreciated the hospitality.

We had a suite with two full rooms, and the rooms were very large for a good price. It’s an old building in a quiet area, close to good restaurants and interesting sights like Charles Bridge. Downtown Prague is also an easy walk. The metro station is a bit of a hike, but with so much nearby, we didn’t really need it. We had an amazing stay.

Josef was such a kind, helpful host, and he made us feel very welcome. The rooms were huge, with comfortable beds, a spacious bathroom, and a little courtyard that was handy for us smokers. Breakfast didn’t have a lot of choice for me as a vegetarian or my very fussy partner, though I’m sure it’ll suit most people. The property is beautiful and traditionally decorated, with a quirky feel. It’s right in the middle of prague on a quiet street, 30 seconds from Kampa park and five minutes from St charles bridge. The prices are brilliant for the location. Thanks so much to Josef for looking after us, we couldn’t recommend the place more.
