Pod Slovany Apartment

It's quiet and feels safe, and I might well come back. The kitchen is great, and there's a big built-in wardrobe in the room. The apartment is cozy and works well for 2-4 people, though the renovation looks to have been done about 10 years ago. Weekend parking is free, and the location is perfect. A few drawbacks: it's on the 3rd floor with no elevator, there's no balcony, and the bathroom is tiny. Cleaning was spotless, as were the sheets and towels.

The apartment is quiet, well located, and has quick access to the city center, with good connections and decent heating and hot water. It has been renovated to some extent and has lots of closets, maybe too many. But the upkeep is really poor, and that's what ruins it. There were cobwebs, a shower caked with grime, crusty pans, a greasy extractor fan, and electrical outlets that looked like they were from the early 20th century. The dirt and neglect made a terrible first impression.

Why should the people who live in this house have to put up with this so the apartment owner can make quick money? Nobody seems interested in what the residents think. This isn't a hotel, it's a home where people get up early for work. They have to keep dealing with disturbances at night, people shouting at two in the morning, and completely unsuitable wheeled suitcases being dragged up the floors. Even tourists who don't care about anyone else seem taken aback by it. Such indifference and ignorance :(

The owner was very pleasant to deal with, and the apartment itself is nice. Everything was good, though the bathroom could do with some renovation 😀
