The garden is amazing for sitting outside with a good book and some fresh air, and the receptionists and staff are really nice. Breakfast costs extra, but it's all you can eat, so it's a good deal depending on how much you eat 😄 There are local shops nearby, including a mini-market, and a cafe with lots of different options is a five-minute walk from the tram stop. The laundromat is about a 10-minute walk away, and the main square and a pharmacy take around 10-15 minutes on foot. Charles Bridge is 20 minutes by tram. It's a fantastic hotel, but there is no wheelchair access because the building is historic and old.

The setting has some real pluses: it's quiet, close to the city center and tram stops, with a beautiful park nearby. Our room was large and clean, and the backyard was nice. But the price felt too high for the quality. The room got flooded with sunlight from around 7 am because the thin curtains did nothing to block it. The mattresses were basic, thin, and uncomfortable, so I stacked them to sleep decently. One towel had yellowish stains, and I had to ask for a replacement. The towels were worn, the carpet was old and rough, and bathroom water pressure was low. There's no air conditioning, and the wifi doesn't work in the yard.

Both rooms we stayed in were charming and spacious, with high ceilings and garden views. Room 1 had a more modern bathroom than the other, but I'd happily stay in either one again. The traditional Czech building is beautiful and well located, and the multilingual staff were friendly and made everything easy.

It's reasonably priced and well connected, with a 24-hour convenience store nearby. The rooms on the entrance side are much bigger than those at the back. Just keep in mind, this is a residential property converted into hotel rooms, not really a hotel.

The staff were nice, but the place was filthy and the furniture was old and uncomfortable. We also had some kind of bugs in our room throughout the stay. Pretty sad for somewhere in such a nice location. The TV didn't work either, and the room wasn't quite what the booking pictures showed.
