Prague Dream Hostel

I slept better than expected, even as a light and fairly early sleeper. I was lucky with mostly quiet roommates in the four-person room, and the free earplugs helped. Roommates can make or break a hostel stay, though, and I didn't really talk with the other travelers, which might have made it even better. The location was great, close to the subway for the train stations and a short walk from the center, with trams handy too. Staff were personable, and seeing cleaners around was reassuring, though the cleaning seemed pretty bare-minimum. I paid extra for breakfast and found it satisfactory. Extra supplies were reasonably priced. It was my first hostel and left a good impression. I'd recommend it.

Great value for money, including for a bigger group. We could walk to the city center, restaurants and bars. The bunk-bed rooms were clean and spacious, with air conditioning. Showers and bathrooms were cleaned often, and breakfast was simple but tasty.

The lobby was a comfortable spot to work, unwind or chat, and the wifi worked reliably. I stayed two nights in a dorm while traveling alone for business. For the price, especially in such a central location, it's hard to beat. There was more privacy than I expected for a shared room: each bed had a curtain and its own power outlet, and there were plenty of showers for the number of guests. Bathrooms were clean and kept up, with an air dryer. Lockers are available, but bring your own lock. Breakfast costs 250 Czech crowns. It had eggs, fruit, vegetables and decent machine coffee. They were incredibly helpful with my luggage. They kept it for the whole time I was traveling through Austria and Hungary, not just a few hours, which made the logistics much easier and gave me peace of mind. There were several lockers, and storage was inexpensive. The hostel felt clean, comfortable and thoughtfully arranged, with both social areas and quiet places to relax. It was a dependable home base in Prague. Staff were consistently welcoming, kind and accommodating, and the atmosphere felt safe and well organized. I really appreciated their professionalism and would stay again. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting a friendly, reliable hostel.
