Hotel Questenberg

We couldn’t get a decent night’s sleep during our stay, and the hotel did nothing to make up for it. We received no apology or compensation. The service was miserable, on the level of a youth hostel. The location was far from downtown Prague, about a 40-minute walk that included a brutal 20-minute uphill climb. This was the worst stay of my life. Don’t go there. We’d booked a superior room for our 5th anniversary, hoping for a perfect stay, and specifically asked for a double bed. Instead, we arrived to find two single beds with one blanket each. The cleaning staff began going to the storage room right beside our room at 6 a.m., collecting supplies. We asked to change rooms that morning and were told it wasn’t possible. Later, they added a mattress topper and a larger blanket to simulate a double bed. It wasn’t ideal, but we accepted it. The second night, we couldn’t sleep because three children in the next room were screaming and running around, like they were having a pajama party. They’re only kids, so we blame their parents. The walls were as thin as paper, with no soundproofing. For the last three nights, new neighbors drank, blasted loud music, had loud sex, and talked until 4 a.m. We called reception. They said guests could do whatever they wanted until 10 p.m., and that after that someone would come up if needed to ask them to quiet down. A receptionist came up on two consecutive nights, but nothing changed and the noise carried on.

Beautiful hotel in an amazing location. The staff were so helpful, nothing was too much trouble. Daniel especially helped my friend and me feel safe when we needed assistance. What a nice man. Thanks for a lovely stay.

The staff were kind, kept our room clean, and answered questions before, during, and after the trip. My friends and I spent a week at Questenberg Hotel, where it was peaceful and quiet at night, so we could get proper rest. The castle, cathedral, and other main sights were about a five-minute walk away. I’d happily come back and highly recommend it.

Breakfast was a real treat, with fresh, varied choices for everyone, and the views made mornings feel special. We also found the rooms spacious and beautifully designed, and they stayed blissfully quiet after a day out exploring. The staff were so friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome and looking after every detail. We had a phenomenal stay at Questenberg Hotel and can’t recommend it enough.
