Ramada by Wyndham Airport Prague

The bed was great, and I liked having two pillow options, one soft and one firm. The shower was excellent too, and I liked the style of the shower head. The reception person was great. The location is great, though the room felt a little outdated. It also had the smallest TV I’ve seen in the past 10 years.

The room was spacious and okay, and the shuttle was nice. The driver was quick to respond. But the service and manners were dreadful overall. The receptionist was horribly rude. She didn’t return my greeting, immediately asked for my passport in a way that felt weird, then asked whether I wanted one room or two. I told her to check the system because I’d booked, but she frowned and said she couldn’t. The whole process was exhausting. When we finally got a room, the door pin didn’t work. Two very polite guys helped us, and I’m grateful to them. The restaurant was awful, the food overpriced, and the whole atmosphere miserable. I’ve seen reviews saying the hotel takes advantage of being the only reasonably priced option near the airport, and I completely agree. I’d avoid staying here unless, like me, you absolutely need to catch an early flight.

The bed was very comfortable, and I slept well. The room was nice, and the receptionist was friendly. Breakfast was excellent and worth the price. The lamps above the bed didn’t work, and opening the room door with the card was difficult. The airport shuttle was handy and cost 50 CZK. It only took a few minutes.

I was shocked by the breakfast on my latest stay in Prague a couple of days ago. I’d stayed here in February and March, when it was great and everything tasted good. This time, though, it was awful for all three days. The food was prepared very carelessly, and I even found a hair on one of my plates. That was disgusting and made me question how clean the kitchen was. I definitely wouldn’t recommend starting the day with a breakfast like that. It was extremely unpleasant.
