The location is great, but that’s about all this place has going for it. The hotel feels and operates like a substandard hostel, nowhere near even a two-star standard. The room furnishings are dated and look cheap, and getting to the rooms is confusing and impractical. To reach the second floor, you have to take two different elevators. The worst part was breakfast. Nobody told me the hours. At 10:15, I entered a breakfast room that was open, with people still eating, and nobody warned or explained anything. Instead, staff suddenly yelled at me and ordered me to leave because breakfast was over. After several minutes of arguing, I asked to speak to the hotel manager. She didn’t yell, but she also didn’t apologize. The staff were rude and unprofessional, with no basic courtesy. If the positive reviews sway you, be cautious. Based on my experience, I strongly suspect many are paid. Plenty of genuine one-star reviews describe the real situation. Avoid this place entirely.

Apart from the central location, which is why we chose it, this hotel was a major disappointment and didn’t live up to the Ramada name. It’s old and outdated, and the air conditioning barely worked. In the summer heat, the room was unbearable and we couldn’t sleep properly. The beds were old and extremely uncomfortable, and the pillows were terrible. We asked for another pillow, but the one we got was even worse. The room looked somewhat like the photos, but the comfort was far below what we expected. Reception staff were cold and distant, and behaved in a strictly formal way. There was no complimentary water or even basic toiletries in the room. Honestly, there’s no reason to stay here apart from the location. I strongly recommend looking at other options in Prague, where you’ll likely get better value and a more pleasant stay.

The receptionist, Anat / Olan, hung up before hearing me out and refused to help share the hotel location for Uber. She threw a paper with the location at us. She also made a racist comment: “In your country, they would not serve you.” The front desk service was very poor, and this behavior was completely unacceptable and unprofessional.

We found bed bugs in our room when we arrived, so the hotel moved us to another one. Unfortunately, the replacement room was smaller than the one we’d booked. The next day, there was a large black spider on the wall. We killed it, but its remains stayed stuck there for three days without being cleaned. The towels weren’t clean and had small insects on them, and the plates were still dirty when they were stacked together. The air conditioning wasn’t working properly, so the room stayed hot and uncomfortable. We woke up several times during the night because of the heat. It was an unpleasant stay, and I hope management takes these cleanliness and service problems seriously and improves things for future guests.
