We stayed in a third-floor Superior Room with River Views. It was clean and fairly roomy, though the style felt dated. Breakfast had a reasonable selection and was fine, if nothing special. The location is excellent for exploring on foot: right by the river and almost beside Charles Bridge, between Prague's Old Town and the opposite riverbank where the castle is. Public transport stops right outside for getting farther across the city. There are some real drawbacks. The street is very busy, with crowds, nightlife, and traffic. Noise at night is hard to miss, and the building sometimes vibrates from traffic, loud music from passing cars, or nearby clubs, especially Friday and Saturday. The bed sat awkwardly in a recess, with very little room on one side and almost none on the other, where there wasn't even a bedside table. The shower leaked and left the bathroom floor flooded. You get a traditional key rather than a key card, and have to leave it at reception whenever you go out. A mini market on the ground floor stays open late for drinks and snacks. Even with the shortcomings, I'd consider coming back because it's so convenient for exploring on foot. Prague Airport is about 25 minutes away, and a taxi costs up to around €18.

The river views gave the stay an extra bit of charm, and the breakfast was excellent. Charles Bridge Palace is ideally placed for walking to all the main sights, which made exploring so convenient. A wonderful mix of comfort, atmosphere, and location. Highly recommended!

Room 404 was a great spot, with panoramic windows looking out over the bridge. The hotel is right in central Prague, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great too, and the rooms have air conditioning. Highly recommend.

I picked this hotel for its location and paid extra on booking.com for a superior double room with a river view, hoping to make our weekend more comfortable. We didn't get that. We were placed on the first floor, right outside the entrance to Prague's wildest five-story nightclub, even though the hotel wasn't fully booked. Every night we were kept awake by drunk people in their 20s screaming, fighting, singing, and throwing up from about midnight until 5 a.m. We could also hear and feel the tram passing every ten minutes. The room had a bit of a palace feel, with high ceilings, huge Renaissance art, a chandelier, and a large bed with a headboard. But the mattress was old and lumpy, the pillows flat, and the bathroom wasn't very clean. There was hair in the sink, mold on the shower walls, and the toilet needed a long press to flush. Toiletries were very limited, the lift was out for two days, and the front desk worker wasn't helpful. Breakfast was fine.

We just got back from a two break at this wonderful hotel. The room was massive and warm, and I couldn't fault it. Breakfast had a wide selection, with something for most people. From the moment we came in, the warm welcome made us feel looked after. Petr and the other lad at reception, whose name I'm sorry I can't remember, were amazingly helpful. Their English was better than my Czech, which helped a lot. All in all, a great hotel in a great location in a great city.
