For the hotel's price and category, this was a good stay. I'm not judging it against some dream hotel. The rooms were clean, with loads of shelf space. I could give every item of clothing its own shelf and still have some left. There's a pleasant patio between the first and second floors. Reception staff speak English to varying degrees, as well as other languages, including at least French. The breakfast hall is beside reception, and you can make tea or coffee there anytime. Breakfast was surprisingly good, with eggs (though not every day), ham and yoghurt. A couple of things were odd: the room card won't open the main entrance, so you have to ring the bell. Guests also aren't allowed upstairs, only into the lobby. That's the first hotel where I've come across that rule. The things I missed are just notes for choosing a hotel and don't affect my rating. A single room has a single bed, not a double. The bathroom is rather small and has no bathtub. Shelf space there is limited, though enough for me traveling alone. The mattress felt a bit too soft for my taste. I didn't see air conditioning in the room. It wasn't a problem in early May, but might be further into summer.
