The best part for me was being able to leave my bags there for hours before check-in and after check-out. That was really useful, and worth five stars. The room, bathroom, and toilet were generally clean, though the shared kitchen smelled a bit bad. It’s a nice hostel for the price, with bus and tram stops nearby and the bus terminal about a 15-minute walk away. I recommend it.

I only stayed one night since Prague wasn’t my main destination. Everything was clean, and I slept well. I booked the female-only dorm, which had a window facing the courtyard. Since it was winter, there wasn’t any late-night partying. I’d stay again, though next time I’d appreciate a bathmat in the bathroom.

For the price, this was a good first stay in Prague. The employees were friendly and helpful, and the common areas were stylish, clean, and pleasant to spend time in. The rooms could have been cleaner, especially the bathroom and toilet.

I’m giving this a low rating because of what happened on October 12th, 2025. I was in a shared room with four beds. In the morning, I woke up to a man masturbating in the bed directly across from mine. I made noise and stood up so he’d know I was awake, but he kept going for about five minutes, fully aware I could see him. When another girl came into the room, he quickly covered himself with the sheets. After she left, I confronted him. He apologized and said he thought I was asleep. I told him I’d report it to reception, and he said, “It’s not necessary, I’m leaving now.” I went to reception around 11:30 a.m., scared and shaken, to tell them what had happened. The two women at the desk showed no concern or empathy. One was very dismissive and said, “You should’ve been quicker, he already left,” followed by, “There’s nothing I can do.” I told her I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. I didn’t know whether he’d been watching me or what might have happened while I was asleep, since we’d been alone in the room. She coldly replied, “Sorry, I can’t do anything.” When I asked if they could move me to a female-only room, she said in the same tone, “Sorry, we’re fully booked.” I understand staff may have limits on what they can do, but the way they handled this showed a complete lack of empathy and humanity toward a woman who had just experienced sexual harassment. I sincerely hope the hostel reviews its safety protocols and trains staff to handle incidents like this with care and professionalism.
