The Grand Mark Prague - The Leading Hotels of the World

On our first trip to beautiful Prague, we stayed at The Grand Mark. The room was awesome, the hotel was very well maintained, and we made good use of the small but functional spa. What made the stay especially memorable was the service. Olga welcomed us wonderfully and showed us around, with real professionalism. Every member of staff did a great job. Thank you all.

The live piano music was a lovely touch, especially the friendly pianist in the black suit. The room was clean, and housekeeping were attentive. Thanks to Gabriella and the team for their efforts. Breakfast had enough choice and good quality products. Our room was spacious and practical, as was the comfortable bathroom. The hotel is close to both the historical center and Old Town. Most staff were polite, helpful, and friendly, and the entrance bellboys were particularly attentive. Bilal was one whose name I learned, and I'd like to thank all of them. The carpet looked a little worn, and replacing it could make the room more comfortable. Otherwise, we were very happy with our stay. I'd choose the hotel again if I visit and would gladly recommend it.

The breakfast was good, and the staff were polite and very nice. Still, for the price, the stay felt only okay. Things looked tired, and the experience didn't meet what I normally expect from a high end hotel. My room was alright, but housekeeping had left a coffee capsule from previous guests in the machine and a large dried stain on the floor beside the bed. I can't tell whether occupancy was high or room service quality is generally uneven. I booked through the Amex FHR program, but they couldn't provide early check-in or the upgrade perks because they said room inventory was low. I know those benefits depend on availability and aren't guaranteed, but fellow FHR travellers should be aware. Compared with other FHR hotels I've stayed at, this was a 3 out of 5 experience. I probably wouldn't return.

The service is what made our stay at The Grand Mark memorable. Mr. Bilal was consistently helpful, kind, professional, and attentive to the details. His positive attitude and dedication really set a high bar for hospitality. The hotel itself is beautiful and elegant, and the location in Prague is excellent. We'd gladly come back and highly recommend it. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
