The President Hotel

The riverfront setting is lovely, with the Old Town and Jewish Quarter only steps away, and it made Prague feel even more magical. Breakfast was another standout, with plenty to choose from and everything tasting good, from coffee and fresh juice to pastries and hot dishes. The staff were warm, attentive, welcoming, and spoke several languages. From the street at the back, President Hotel doesn’t look especially luxurious at first. Inside, though, the design feels carefully thought through, with comfort and quality in the details. The room had a beautiful river view with boats passing by, plus a wide windowsill made into a snug spot to sit privately. The bed faces the window, so you wake up looking toward the river. There’s also a separate hall area with useful luggage storage. Even with belongings spread out, the room stayed calm, tidy, and elegant. A 10/10 stay for me, and I highly recommend it.

Marketa was especially kind, professional, and attentive, and made us feel very well looked after. We had a great stay at President Hotel in Prague from beginning to end. The spa was wonderful and spotless. We tried the Thai massage, which was deeply relaxing, very professional, and one of the best we’ve had. Breakfast was very good too, with a nice range and coffee we especially liked. The hotel brought together comfort, thoughtful service, and attention to detail. We’d happily return and recommend it.

After several days of walking uphill to see the sights, the spa’s steam room and Roman bath were such a relaxing, unusual treat. The hotel is well placed for walking to the main attractions, and the staff were really helpful with questions about getting around the city. The breakfast buffet had loads of options, so there was something for everyone.

We stayed four nights, and the canal view from our room made it feel extra special. The room had the essentials and a minibar, and was kept tidy throughout. The hotel was clean and well looked after, and the staff were friendly and accommodating. I have a peanut allergy, and they took care to make sure my food was safe, which I really appreciated. Charles Bridge and the Old Town were easy to reach, so exploring was simple. I also enjoyed the spa, with its gym, sauna, steam room, and pool. Breakfast is worth adding, in my view. There was lots of variety, and it worked out better value than eating out each morning. I’d definitely stay again.
