It's an ornate, very old building that's been refurbished. The bathrooms look smart, the Wi-Fi works well, it's clean, and there's an elevator. Breakfast is big, and the location is great. There's no restaurant for dinner, checkout is at 11am, and there's no kettle, just a coffee machine. I'd come back.

The room was dirty, with cobwebs around, and the furniture looks like it should have been replaced about 20 years ago. There’s a hole in the door, as you can see in the pictures. The shower ceiling is so low that even a normally sized woman can’t stand upright, and there was no hot water at all.

What made our time in Prague so special was U Páva as much as the city itself. The staff were genuinely keen to help, and we had a wonderful breakfast. The hotel is beautifully decorated and close to Charles Bridge and plenty of restaurants, while still being tucked away from the noise. We’ll definitely stay here when I come back to Prague. Highly recommend it.
