The room was huge and comfortable for the three of us, and we really enjoyed having breakfast at the hotel each morning. The service was good, and the food was alright. It wasn’t cheap, but I think it was worth it. The location is excellent, close to Charles Bridge, one of the most iconic and beautiful bridges in the world. It has a different feel in the morning and evening, and going around 8am or 9pm means fewer people in your photos. I managed to get some lovely Instagram-worthy shots. The historic building has no lift, and we had to carry our luggage up more than 20 steps. We’re fit, so it was fine for us, but bear that in mind when choosing a hotel. The windows in the toilet and shower had no curtains, so I used towels and toilet rolls to make a screen for peace of mind, even though people probably couldn’t see in from outside. The hotel is right by the tram line, so you can hear trams turning the corner just below the windows.

The waitress was rude and added a more expensive menu item to our order, then got angry when we said we hadn’t asked for it. She took our order but never entered it, and we only found out at the bar after waiting for nothing. The restaurant feels like another tourist trap and may be trying to fool people. Never again 👌👍 Thanks for not putting our order through. We were happier spending our money somewhere else.

The food was delicious, full of flavor and cooked just right, so it’s a shame the service was such a disaster. The waitress was rude, dismissive, and shockingly unprofessional. Her attitude completely spoiled the meal and made it hard to enjoy. The kitchen deserves praise, but I wouldn’t want to dine there again with service like that.

We came from Canada hoping to find authentic Czech food, and after other nearby places turned out to be packed or require reservations, we found this calm spot where we could get a table without booking. The chicken schnitzel was really good, and the rest of the food was amazing too. The waitresses were lovely, the decor was great, and we liked the money on the table. I’m so glad we came!

A staff member was pretty rude even though we’d ordered and paid for our drinks. Something on the bill also seemed off: the small pilsner cost the same as a large seasonal beer. Disappointing, and I wouldn’t really recommend the place.
