The rooms were roomy, with high ceilings and the usual amenities, and a big Tesco is just around the corner. We could hear street noise because the room wasn’t soundproof, though it didn’t bother us much. Light sleepers might find it an issue. Staff spoke English and were always helpful, and all the main sights are within walking distance. The hotel itself was pleasant and in a brilliant location. The room key comes on a chunky wooden block, which you can take out or leave at reception.

Lucie gave us a lovely surprise at check-in by upgrading my husband and me to a charming suite. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the start, and we really appreciated the kindness. After long days of sightseeing, the spacious, clean suite was a quiet and relaxing place to come back to. The hotel is well placed for first-time visitors. We walked everywhere and always felt safe. We’ll be back and will recommend the hotel to friends and colleagues.

Olena deserves a special mention for making me feel at home in Prague, such a pleasant city. My five-night stay was comfortable, with a very clean room and friendly staff. The location in Prague was good too. When I return, this is the hotel I’ll consider, for all those reasons.
