Vila Prag

We booked the house on airbnb in August 2024 because we planned to get married in Prague in February 2025. Complications with the documents we needed to submit meant we had to change countries and could no longer marry there. We canceled at the beginning of October, almost 5 months before our planned stay, but were still made to pay half the cost. That's more than 1500 EUR we paid for nothing. We could have used that money for a honeymoon, but it went to waste. I sent 5 messages asking why we still had to pay so much with so much time left before the date, and never got a reply. It was super disappointing. I'll never book this house or other accommodation through this agency again. In reply to the owner: canceling 5 months ahead should have left some room for flexibility. This wasn't a last-minute cancellation, and there was time to find other guests. You ignored my messages and only replied by commenting on this review. I never stayed at the accommodation, but my review is about the bad booking experience and communication with the host, and people deserve to know. There was plenty of time to respond and offer some kind of arrangement, like letting us use the place at a different time. You only cared about the money, not your guests.

We've stayed here twice, and I expect we'll come again. It's a big house that works well for lots of people, with 3 garage parking spaces for regular cars, Wi-Fi, a microwave, a stove, and cooking utensils. It's not a new building or a 5-star hotel. The foosball table is in rough shape, with missing legs, arms, and heads, plus bent rods. The dishwasher doesn't clean everything. The pool and everything else are well chlorinated, and the grill and other things show signs of use from previous guests. That's just how it is. All in all, it's cool 😃. I'll probably skip the photos when there are 20 people 😂

There's plenty of room here for a big group, which makes it a good fit for New Year's Eve, birthdays, or bachelor and bachelorette parties. One downside: rental company employees came into the building without warning while we were renting it.
