After driving for half a day, we arrived and were told there was no reservation for us and nobody had confirmed it, so we should find somewhere else. That was the end of it, apparently. We had booked through the website and received an email in Czech with the reservation details, then called the front desk. The woman confirmed the booking in German, so we thought all was fine. Communication was already difficult because none of the staff speak English, and we had to get by in German. Never again.

The location is about 30 minutes from the city centre by public transport. Our room was nice and clean, though a little small, and the bathroom was large with a tub. Breakfast was quite good.

Breakfast was delicious every morning, a lovely way to start the day. The guesthouse is in a quiet neighborhood, yet only a few minutes by train from the centre, which made the location a great mix of peace and convenience. The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, and I felt at home from the moment I arrived. I had a wonderful stay and can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for comfortable accommodation with a family feel. I’d be happy to come back.
