The room looked cute, but there was a sewage smell in the bathroom. The receptionist's friendliness seemed to depend on who was working. One middle-aged man was unprofessional and unfriendly. Breakfast was the same every day. Getting here can be hard: the hotel is on a hill, and there's a long flight of stairs from the nearest tram stop. That could be difficult with heavy luggage or for anyone who has trouble walking. There aren't many restaurants nearby.

The receptionists were really kind, the rooms clean, and breakfast nice. It's a nice hotel for a nice price, and worth staying at for what you pay ❤️

Restaurants and grocery shops are nearby, and the hotel is well connected to the city center and Zlicin bus terminal. The bus and tram stops are just a few minutes away on foot. The heating in our room was too high.

Getting into the building could take a while. The door was often locked, so you'd have to ring, and I sometimes waited over 15 minutes. Staff members also didn't speak English, which made communication difficult. One nice thing: they gave me my keys as soon as I arrived in the morning. The rooms were small, with no air conditioning or blackout curtains, so sunlight came in as early as 5 AM. The carpet was ruined and smelled, and the cleanliness overall was very poor. I had to ask reception for shower gel each time because it wasn't replenished. Breakfast was very poor too, with little choice and mostly industrial products. This hotel really doesn't meet the standard of a 3-star rating.

Hotel Wilhelm is a dependable, budget-friendly option if you want a comfortable stay in a peaceful neighborhood. The breakfast also has a good reputation.
