The loss of the potato pancakes is such a shame. They used to be the one-of-a-kind thing here, and I can't think of anywhere else that served them pizza-style. The former waitress could make drinks look just like their ad photos, too, which isn't easy. I used to tell people where to find the place, and they left happy and excited. Since the owners and staff changed, though, the pancakes are gone and the drinks don't match the pictures. It's just another restaurant among many now, with a hotel attached. I can't recommend it as something exceptional anymore.

The room has a pleasant, stylish feel, and the service is attentive. The daily menu can be a bit underwhelming at times. It may look Italian, but it's a long way from the real thing.

The menu's pretty limited right now, maybe because the owners have only just changed. Still, the beef cheeks in red wine were delicious, and the service was fine. Four stars.
