Parkhotel

The area around the hotel was lovely, and the staff were really kind. We had no problems during our weekend stay with our two dogs, and the hotel is pet friendly. For one night with breakfast we paid €81, which felt like a very good price for the Prague area, even though the hotel isn't right in Prague. The dogs cost about €20 total, less than we usually pay per dog, plus around €1.65 tourist tax. We got a two-level apartment with three beds, one downstairs and a double upstairs. The stairs are quite steep and awkward, so anyone with walking difficulties should stay downstairs or look for a room without stairs. The furniture is a bit dated, but for the price it was a good choice if you're not after luxury. The beds were comfortable, the shower was a decent size, and there was a minibar we could use as a small fridge. The lamp switches took some figuring out. Breakfast was a real highlight. There was a big selection for a hotel this size: lots of hams and salamis, cheese, spreads, pastries, sweet cakes, cereal, yoghurt and drinks, plus boiled and scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages. We really enjoyed it, so don't skip the breakfast option. The hotel restaurant was closed while we were there, so keep that in mind if you need it open throughout your stay.

The room worked out perfectly for my son and me: I requested separate beds, and they arranged a two-floor room with one bed on each level. We stayed for two nights, and the room was lovely. Everything else about our stay was great too. Thank you!

The garden was a lovely spot to relax, with tidy plants, trees and sun shades keeping it cool. It's a traditional hotel with its own good restaurant, and there are plenty of other good restaurants nearby. The road outside is fairly busy, though, and the only drawback for me was the lack of air conditioning.

The staff were so welcoming and spoke English, and the place was clean and very good value. Parking and Wi-Fi were free, and the connection worked everywhere. An Uber to Prague center costs 250 kc, about 10 euro, at any time of day. Breakfast was on a 4+ star hotel level. My one small suggestion is better quality coffee, and then you'd have the best hotel in Prague 🏆!
