We stayed in Apartment Perla, which has nice, modern facilities. But as others have said, if you’re considering half board at the central restaurant, I’d avoid it. The food was absolutely horrendous: cold, dry, flavorless, and with no choice. We were there for four days, and I’m sure leftovers from one night were reused in another dish the next. The staff didn’t seem happy or interested either. They weren’t exactly unfriendly, but they certainly didn’t go out of their way for anyone. It’s a real shame. On holiday, you don’t want to have to cook, and a bad meal after a long day in the mountains ruins the experience. The rooms may be nice, but we would never, ever return to Hotel Ricky or recommend it.

Our room was very large, with plenty of space for a family of four, and we got a really warm welcome when we arrived. We have a special diet, which they accommodated without any trouble and with a big smile. We had to shorten our stay and leave before breakfast the next morning, and they handled that very kindly too. We checked out in the evening without being charged for leaving early, and four breakfast boxes were waiting for us at reception in the morning. Thank you!

Don’t pay by card if you can avoid it. The hotel charged me twice instead of releasing the card hold. When I notified them, they said they couldn’t do anything, even after two weeks. I’ll have to pursue it through official channels. I really don’t recommend this!

This is about the restaurant only. I’d skip it. They don’t seem interested in your custom, and several of us have found that if you’re not staying at the hotel, they make you feel unwelcome and leave you waiting an absurdly long time before serving you. Steer clear!
