What stood out most was how helpful the owner was. I never expected someone to drive me out to buy a new car battery, and that kindness made the stay feel special. The place was remarkably cozy, with unusual, high-quality furniture and facilities and service that were well above average. We even got a free upgrade, which would have earned an extra star on its own. The heated indoor pool wasn't in use, since only one other room was occupied, but it was still at 19 degrees when it was nearly minus 30 outside. I stayed there last winter and plan to return. It was a real pleasure, the kind you don't come across often these days. Thanks to the family, and looking forward to coming back!

A pleasant place to stay, with clean, well-kept rooms and friendly, helpful staff. The neighborhood is quiet and shops are close by. There are cycling trails all around, with bike rentals available, and it makes a great starting point for hikes too.
