The staff were friendly and it’s a cozy place. My steak with mushrooms tasted great, and the Gulaš was good too. The food was pretty good, no complaints there. It wasn’t the cleanest, though. There were a few spider webs, dust on the window sill near us, and the table felt a little sticky.

We came in at 2pm after a rainy hike, starving, and it was cozy and warm inside. The Rampusak 11 beer was good. The Kyselo was only okay, I’ve had much better, while the Cesnecka was very good. The smoked ribs were good, though the bottom rack was cold. Svickova was excellent, the Testoviny s Kurecim masem v houbove omacce was perfect, and the salad was great. Dekujeme.

The food was really tasty and the surroundings lovely, so I’d recommend the place. A couple of things brought it down to four stars for me: the stuffed animals in the main dining room might not appeal to everyone, and the menu is only in German and Czech, not English. I know an English translation was given to the owner, so it may be worth asking for it.

My steak with mushrooms was great, and the Gulaš was good too. The food was pretty good, and the staff were friendly. It’s cozy, but cleanliness could be better: we noticed a few spider webs, dust on the window sill, and a slightly sticky table. All in all, a good experience.

The fireplace is nice, and the food is great. There’s a fox too, what does the fox say? It’s worth a visit, if you can get through the really difficult waiters, who make you feel like the local village idiot. Just survive the waitress.
