There were plenty of games for the kids, and the hostess was lovely. Next time I’d pick an apartment overlooking the garden rather than the road 😉

The garden and terrace were lovely, and the whole place was very well kept. Mrs. Martina greeted us when we arrived and took the time to explain everything. We had a great experience and can recommend it.

The apartment’s adjustable heating and outdoor blinds were useful, and Mrs. Rejlová did an excellent job. Everything was spotless, and she was wonderful with people, clearly putting real care into her work and doing more than she had to. Her efforts are the only reason we stayed through the end of our paid stay. Those positives still couldn’t make up for how unpleasant the experience was. The noise in the building was extreme, and Mr. Stejskal, the owner, came across as arrogant, rude, and condescending. Many inconsiderate guests made an incredible amount of noise and mess, and there were fights. After two days, we couldn’t bear it anymore. We also heard that other guests had left a week before us because of the excessive noise. I called Mr. Stejskal because he was listed as the person responsible for the building, and I had arranged the accommodation with him. He responded nastily, asking why I was calling, what I wanted, and why I was bothering him. He said he had been in Thailand the previous week and was now in Prague, where he lives. I don’t understand what Thailand had to do with it. I calmly explained that he was listed as the contact, so I was asking for help. He said there was no problem with the accommodation, only with the guests, and complained that we were calling and bothering him. He asked why I didn’t contact the police if people weren’t observing nighttime quiet. I tried to explain calmly that the guests’ behavior was really extreme, that we were so unhappy we were thinking of leaving, and that we weren’t the first guests troubled by the noise. He accused me of making it up and said that if we didn’t like something, we should leave, adding that we were adults and knew what we wanted. He showed no decency at all. Even a simple apology would have helped. I don’t think anyone should be treated that way, especially a paying customer. He made us feel that guests meant nothing to him and that he didn’t care. To me, there’s a big difference between owners who care about their business and a mere investor, which is how Mr. Stejskal seems to me.

It was warm and clean, with a washing machine in the bathroom. They welcomed us with Plzeň, coffee, and Harriba for the kids. The downside is being by the road. If you’re a light sleeper, you won’t get much sleep, and sleeping with the window open may be impossible.
