The restaurant dinner was excellent, especially the meats from their own farm. Breakfast was good too, with high-quality ingredients that tasted very fresh. Our family room was like a small apartment, and the hotel has lovely antique-style decor. It’s surrounded by greenery and very quiet. The hard mattress and weak water pressure could be improved, though the kids found the sofa bed more comfortable. Thanks for a pleasant vacation.

The rooms and building had quaint, charming decor, the restaurant food was very good, and most of the staff were friendly. But our whole group struggled to sleep because the mattresses were so hard. I would have given it five stars if we'd been able to get refreshing sleep.

After tiring business days, I always look forward to the fantastic restaurant downstairs and the great wellness area. The rooms feel like tiny apartments, authentic but clean. I've been coming back for years and call it my “second home.” So far it's always been for business, but I'd love to spend a holiday in this quiet spot in nature. The vast forests look ideal for hiking and biking.

Gitarva Hotel in the Czech Republic exceeded my expectations and felt like a hidden gem. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, the charming atmosphere and warm hospitality made an impression. The attached restaurant is excellent, and breakfast has a wide range of options. You can rent the sauna for wet, dry, Nordic or spa use. The rooms are cozy with nice views, making this a lovely winter stay. There are nice hiking spots nearby and a cute village. There seems to be a bus to Liberec and other towns during the busier season.
