A good place to pause and warm up on a hike, with plenty of food choices like beef, pork, chicken, and some salads. The meals are decent, nothing special, but enough to get some energy back. I liked the Kocur lager a lot. There are ski lifts nearby, so you can watch people on the slopes from inside the restaurant or head out skiing yourself. Spindlerowy Mlyn is nearby, though it’s quite a climb back up after hiking down.

The cottage is about 6 km from Špindlerův Mlyn along a tourist trail, and it’s in a lovely spot. They have tasty Czech dishes and beer at reasonable prices. 🍲🍛🍻🍺😉👍

A nice little outing from Špindlerovka. I stopped for some soup and a Kocour craft beer, which was excellent. There’s outdoor seating with a view of the mountains, plus wooden figures of Krakonoš and other characters from Krkonošské fairy tales.

The meat dishes were fine, though there isn’t much for vegetarians, and the rooms are okay too. Getting here by car is possible. The tarmac is a bit bumpy but still manageable in an ordinary car. Kids can use the trampoline and swing bench for free, which is great.

I’ve never been disappointed here. The food is delicious any day I visit, and Kocour is the best beer, from east to west. Every time, it’s a pleasure!
