The homemade food was really tasty, with a nice range of dishes. The only processed thing we noticed was the French fries. Desserts were a highlight at breakfast and dinner, especially the high-quality ice cream and delicious homemade cake. One letdown was the small cocktail selection at the bar. The bartender seemed to hate his job and didn’t smile once all week. The location worked really well for us. It’s just 300 meters from the little slope at Harmony Hotel, a handy place to brush up on our skiing before trying the proper slopes. The path there was easy to walk, so we didn’t need to take the bus. We also liked having a warm ski room to dry and store our gear. We’d happily come back next ski season.

This is a bare-bones hotel. The rooms are tiny and have almost no amenities, and staff seemed unable to understand us unless we spoke German or Czech. Breakfast was decent and the location was good, which were its only redeeming points.

It’s hard to imagine a more basic place. They have breakfast, and the rooms have beds, but everything else was incredibly bad. There wasn’t even a bin in the room, reception staff didn’t know any English, and the ski room barely held half the equipment, so we had to leave ours outside.

The rooms are a little dated, but clean, and the shower is nice. Breakfast was fantastic, with a lovely view, and the hotel offers good value for money. There’s a stop for the free shuttle to the slopes about 100 meters away. The facilities are decent too.

Everyone at reception, the restaurant, and the bar was helpful and ready to lend a hand. The service feels professional, and the atmosphere is great. A lovely choice for a short mountain getaway.
