The hotel has a wonderful view and is a very beautiful place. My issue was with the rooms: there was no body lotion, tea, or coffee, things I’d consider common in hotels.

Just so you know in advance, the sauna and spa facilities are only for people staying at the hotel. If you’re looking for somewhere to use them without staying there, this isn’t the place. Sadly, that wasn’t mentioned on their website.

The room we got was almost dark and felt like a basement, and there wasn’t much quiet lounge space to relax. There were lots of organized groups, including school groups, and loud, drunk people. I wouldn’t choose this place for a peaceful family break. The receptionist barely greeted us and was extremely rude, and the restaurant guy charged us for more than we’d had. We tried to enjoy a coffee, but the waiters had a movie playing so loudly that we couldn’t. The food was average, like mensa food.

Several ski lifts are within walking distance, and the area would be lovely for a summer weekend too. It’s a perfect spot for a short weekend away, with meals that were always nice and plentiful.
