Pension Karin

We’ve returned to lovely Pension Karin and usually come outside the busy season because we’re mainly looking for peace and quiet. The family is friendly, helpful, and very nice. We normally stay upstairs in a room with a kitchenette. We’re independent, so we don’t need breakfast from the guesthouse. There’s a kettle, microwave, and fridge, and you can also cook in the dining room kitchen. It’s quiet, completely clean, and has no smoking or pets. The bus stop is a 10-minute walk away. Just right for relaxing. Thank you, and see you again soon.

We had a warm welcome in the two-bedroom apartment, which is very spacious. One bedroom has two beds and the other has four. The staff were attentive, friendly, and helpful, and gave us great information about the area and what matters when travelling with a family, including deals, reservations, and places to have dinner. You can exchange currency at reception. The owner explained everything in German, which was easy to follow. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the ski lift.

The guesthouse itself is decent, but the snow isn’t cleared and no salt is spread. There’s only a sign warning that it’s slippery. The bins aren’t emptied either. Breakfast was poor: there are croissants, but on some days there wasn’t even sausage. The host is often unfriendly and complains. Friendliness seems to be missing here, and it’s hard to feel comfortable.
