Resort Špindl

The rooms were in poor, neglected shape, with lots of damage and an unpleasant smell throughout the buildings. Even outdoor parking costs extra, and it isn't cheap. The pool area was very cold, both the water and the air. Entry costs extra too, and quite a lot, especially since I wouldn't really call it an aquapark. Read carefully before booking: this is an aquapark, not a hotel. Maybe these issues would be easier to overlook outside the holidays or New Year, when prices are much lower. But if you're paying a lot during peak season and travelling with family, I'd strongly suggest choosing somewhere else. There are many better, more family-friendly hotels. We won't be returning.

Hi! My massage experience was really bad. The masseur kept asking me questions once the massage started, even though I don't speak Czech very well. I asked if we could stop talking because I was there to relax, and he muttered a curse under his breath. I left as soon as I could. I didn't complain anywhere because I feel like nobody here cares. If you're thinking of getting a massage there, please don't. Maybe this will spare someone else the same stress.

Breakfast and dinner both had a nice range of food, and the buffet even included buckwheat, cooked beautifully. That little detail meant a lot since you rarely see it in restaurants. The whole service team was warm and attentive, and you can tell they care about making guests feel welcome and looked after. The rooms were modern, cozy, tastefully decorated, and really clean, with care put into the details. Nothing felt overdone. It's a peaceful place that still works well for families. The aquapark was closed for renovations during our visit, but we heard it would reopen soon and look forward to using it next time. There are also some covered parking spaces. We left rested and happy, and would gladly return. A great choice for comfort, good food, and friendly hospitality.

A large group of guests was very noisy, especially coming back from a night out at 0045. There was a bad sewage smell in Block F and in the ski and boots room. Staff left the front door open to reduce the smell, which made the entrance and stairs to the upper floor cold. The accommodation and the way it was managed didn't justify the price. We were very disappointed with this visit and won't return.
