There’s plenty of peace and quiet here, and the place is clean and cozy for a great price. We liked the dog and the two cats who live next door and sometimes stop by. Just keep in mind that food, soap, tea or coffee, sugar, and salt aren’t provided, and there are no shops nearby. Shops in the city center close at 6 PM. Getting around can take some planning: the bus comes every two hours, costs 10 Kč, and stops running at 7 PM. The timetable is hard to figure out without Czech. Walking to the center is about 5 km, and getting a taxi for 100-250 Kč was a pain without knowing Czech. The owners speak very little English, so learn a bit of Czech if you want to know the names of the friendly people and their pets. Wi-Fi was mostly fine but sometimes lagged, and there were too few sockets upstairs. It’s in a village, so a good choice if you want to get away from city noise.

The apartment was spotless and beautiful, and the kitchen had everything we needed. It’s in a great spot, about a five-minute drive from the old town. The host was really kind and spoke English.

The owner was nice, and there’s covered parking, decent Wi-Fi, nearby forests, and hiking options, with Kleť lookout tower, Český Budějovice, and Hluboka close by. Apartment Vyšný is a very quiet place about 3 km from the center of Český Krumlov. The outdoor biotope pool has no steps, which could be an issue for older people. Our weather was great, but a fan would be useful on hot days. The accommodation was fine overall.

We had a lovely little dog for company during our stay. The place is quiet and pleasant, with a beautiful garden, nice views, and a barbecue area. It was very comfortable and spotless, and the kitchen was well equipped, including a washing machine. The host was friendly, attentive, and spoke English. It’s about a ten-minute drive to the city center.
