The staff were pleasant, and everything was great. There were some hot water problems, but they were sorted out quickly.

The golf course setting outside the city is peaceful, with a summer garden and a beautiful historic building. The à la carte food was good. The continental breakfast, though, was a very different story: tea, coffee, some juice, and a table with ham, one kind of cheese, and jams. There were no vegetables, eggs, yogurt, or cereal. The accommodation also fell short. A window was out of reach and had a dismantled opening rod, and some lights didn’t work. The luxurious exterior and the service inside felt like a big contrast. I hope the owners can make better use of the great potential of this beautiful setting.
