The owners were attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We have three small children, and by breakfast the morning after we arrived, they'd already printed a brochure with trip ideas for going out with a stroller. They checked each evening to see if everything was all right or if we needed anything. The cottage itself is extremely spacious, spotlessly clean, and well equipped inside and out. Both kitchens have everything you need. The shared dining room used to be a pub, so there's a tap for draft beer and lemonade, plus a coffee press. It's in a peaceful spot with lovely views and cow pastures all around. You can take a short walk to the village for ice cream, and there are lots of attractions within a fairly short drive. An ideal holiday with small children. We were very satisfied and highly recommend it.

We were very happy with our holiday at the guesthouse in the Šumava Mountains. The owners were friendly and helpful, and the rooms and kitchen were clean. There was coffee from the machine, beer or kofola to pour, and fresh pastries for breakfast every morning. We'll definitely return.

The owners were very friendly, and Strakonice beer on tap was a real bonus, especially Klostermann and King of Šumava. There’s a playground outside, a fairly large, nice pool that isn’t heated, and a hot tub heated for winter. The facilities aren't luxurious, but they're more than sufficient. It's a lovely place for a family holiday with children, peaceful and still quite close to everything, though a little away from Šumava's main locations. Beautiful view from the yard.

The cooking is excellent, and the rooms are luxurious, with flat-screen TVs. Service is second to none. Maybe the best guesthouse that comes here every weekend.

Michalov Eco Farm offers a perfect stay for a reasonable price. The owners are nice, the cuisine is good, and the garden is probably lovely in summer. I can only recommend it.
