This was our second visit, and we had everything we needed. I like the peaceful setting in the forest, with few people around, and the price is great. There's also a pub just below the guesthouse serving excellent food.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the place by the dam is beautiful. Everything met our expectations, so we'd be happy to return and I'd definitely recommend it.

The pub has a small breakfast, and the outdoor seating is pleasant. The shared kitchen is clean, comfortable to use and well equipped, though it's not really for cooking a big meal. They only have salt. Our expectation of quiet evenings was off: lots of families with children were staying, and the evening fun carried on past 11pm. For families, that's great. Kids aged 5-12 can have a fun evening away from their phones, playing football, chasing each other, blind babies, and so on. If stairs are difficult for you, I'd suggest rooms 1-4, as the others are only reached by stairs. My overall impression is good, and I'd recommend it.
