The kids’ playroom and ski room for drying clothes feel like welcome modern additions. The rest has the character of an old mountain hotel: a roomy restaurant, open fire, and even electronic music playing. There’s also a whiskey room with a foosball table, though you have to bring your own whiskey. Service can be bizarre.

For the price, this is a solid choice. Breakfast is included and was nice, and the staff were helpful. The shared room has an old-fashioned feel, with billiards, a TV, and board games.

The staff at Dvorska were especially friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. Our room was clean, too. Since Dvorska bouda sits high on the hill, it’s a great base for walks with kids, and you can even reach Snezka. We’ll definitely return, and I recommend it to everyone.

Friendly staff and good prices make this old-fashioned hut a lovely place to stay. I like that Dvorska bouda has held out while so many other huts in Krkonose have turned into commercial centers, like shopping malls in the mountains. I hope it stays this way for a long time.

Rooms are on the small side and the place feels a bit old, but it’s a really nice spot for a winter holiday. It stays warm, the food is decent, and the hiking routes nearby are great. The price is great, too.
