You’ll need cash for payment, so come prepared. The staff were so friendly and the service was amazing. The place is only a few steps from the main square.

I really liked the local artists’ work on display. The setting and rooms feel very cozy, and breakfast was satisfying. In the common room there’s a kitchenette, comfortable seating, a pool table with cues in pretty sad shape, and musical instruments that are hopelessly out of tune but still add to the atmosphere. We could light the fireplace if we wanted.

The garden beside the city wall is a peaceful spot to relax, and there’s a community room for rainy days with a piano, pool table, and amenities. Breakfast is first class, with insalata caprese, Greek salad, bacon and eggs, fresh fruit, plus desserts like custard tarts and doughnuts. We enjoyed another lovely stay in June 2022. The house is run by a lovely lady who happily goes the extra mile. It feels very cosy and has lots of features. The rooms can get a bit warm in summer.

Breakfast was fantastic, and the location just off Telč's main square is ideal. It’s a beautiful penzion, with stylish decor and a lovely autumn leaves theme in the glass panes. The host was very kind and generous. There are no card facilities, but plenty of ATMs within a two-minute walk. I’d highly recommend it to anyone.

The bread at breakfast was delicious, some of the best I’ve ever eaten. Breakfast overall was amazing, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. A great pension in a beautiful old house.
