Kavárna Lucie s ubytováním

I've stayed in some bad places, but this was disgustingly dirty. I only need a bed and bathroom, as long as the basics are clean, and that wasn't the case here. There was hair and lint in the sink, tub, and toilet, dried urine on the toilet seat and outside on its base, and dirty glasses. The bathroom soap was empty, as if no one had bothered to clean or refill it. The floors and the rest of the room weren't any better, and the bathroom was stomach-turning. A horrible smell from the waste and pipes made it even worse. I can't understand how someone can run accommodation in this state without being ashamed. Just clean and disinfect the place properly.

The surroundings were nice, which is about where the positives end. We were met by a sour-faced landlady who didn't greet us. The price was higher than the booking price; when I asked why, she said she'd thought it was cheap and that she was only an employee, so I should complain elsewhere. The apartment was listed for 4-5 people but felt big enough for three at most. The kitchen was small and missing some dishes, though it was enough to cook pasta. There was no way to drain it, and cooking took 30 minutes. For our whole week, we were given half a roll of toilet paper. The room wasn't very clean, the beds were poor, and noise from the cafe below continued until 9 every night.

I booked an overnight stay here without thinking it through. A disgruntled woman spent ages copying details from my passport, then told me I had to pay in cash and only in local currency. In the 21st century, they still couldn't take electronic payment. Every suggestion got the same response: crowns or no deal. That was only half the surprise. We climbed a narrow staircase to the room. The beds were decent and there was a smart TV, but little else. The toilet door hit the ceiling, and when you sat down your feet bumped the door and bathtub. Washing yourself meant kneeling. Who designed this? There wasn't any tea or coffee for guests either. I have no wish to return to this bottom-of-the-barrel place.

The clean bedding and provided towels were fine, but I wouldn't stay longer than one night. The beds were small, hard, and uncomfortable, and the room felt stuffy. There was no kitchen, only a sink and a dirty fridge. I didn't use the kettle, and the cooker was just a single electric burner. It's pretty poor overall, but at that price it's bearable for a night while travelling.
