Breakfast downstairs was a decent spread, with rolls, croissants, fruit, vegetables, yogurt, and several juices, though the coffee machine kept clogging or needed attention. I only had scrambled eggs, since the kitchen seemed closed or shut too early for other food. The hotel sits by a main road, but the room itself was well insulated; I mainly heard noise from below. The room was very large, with a neo-bourgeois look that didn't all quite go together. It had a double bed, open wardrobe, drawers, TV, minibar, kettle, tea bags that seemed old, and complimentary water. The sink was in the room, with no towel hook nearby, while the toilet was cramped and the shower drained so slowly that water collected and spilled over at a normal flow. The king-size bed was too short and much too soft for me, and I woke with back pain after sleeping badly. The internet was only about 7.5/5 Mbit DL/UL, too slow for video calls, and there was no desk despite room for one. I couldn't find a minibar price list and paid €4 for a small Jägermeister. Reception is reached through a low doorway and a very narrow staircase. The staff were friendly, but the receptionist spoke very limited English, so communication was hard. The location is reasonable, but parking is the main drawback: you can unload outside, then have to move the car to a remote muddy lot with only three spaces.
