We only stayed one night, and the room shown in the photos probably exists, but it wasn't the one we got. I'd rather they were upfront about that. The place felt more like rooms for rent than a villa, though there's nothing wrong with that if it's described honestly. The owner's wife was a little kinder, but something still felt off. The owner could use some lessons in politeness and what it means to host people. We also weren't told that the restaurant takes cash only. Luckily, we had some with us. So, so-so.

The food, service, music, wine, and cigars were all in good hands here, and the people were genuinely lovely. It's such a great find that part of me wants to keep it to myself. Still, if you're within, say, 500 kilometers, call to book, make the trip, and enjoy. Grrreat place!
