I left pretty disappointed, even though the gentleman who checked me in was kind. The practical problems started with the basics: there was only one small hand towel, a little disposable soap by the sink and none in the shower, and the mattress was old and worn. The room wasn't very clean either. When I mentioned that the TV had a bad signal, nobody tried to fix it. The hallway sensor lights went out after a few seconds, so part of the stairs was dark. I fell down them one morning because of that. I also asked to borrow a kettle for coffee or tea, but was told it would blow the room's fuses. I offered to make a drink downstairs, then asked about the kitchenette and the common room with a bar mentioned in the description. Each time, I was told I should have asked before booking, and I wasn't allowed to use them. The price list even charges 100 CZK/day to rent drinking glasses. At 950 CZK per night/person, I don't think the service or what they provide matches the price. Other places commonly include basics like a kettle, toiletries, towels and glasses. I managed to get through two nights. It worked as a last resort, but I'd think twice before staying again and probably wouldn't recommend it to friends.

The only thing holding this place back from being perfect is the TV. The old 37cm CRT was hard to watch even 20 years ago, and it still needs an upgrade. Otherwise, this new guesthouse is kept in great shape and the cleanliness was exemplary. There's a nice pool, private parking, and a small kitchenette in the rooms. It's quiet, with beautiful nature nearby, and the owner is extremely helpful and accommodating.

The room was nice and clean, though the accommodation was on the pricey side. For breakfast, there's a bakery conveniently close by, and a pub for lunch or dinner is 700m from the accommodation.

It only opens for the area's major events.
