Penzion Horácko

His attitude made the stay a disaster. The owner came across as arrogant and haughty, with no basic decency or professionalism, and showed no willingness to sort anything out. It felt like guests were just a nuisance to him, and he treated us that way. I’d avoid this guesthouse next time and can’t recommend it. There are plenty of other places that value their guests.

The rooms were clean, and the owner was really kind and helpful.

Dinner was excellent, so I’d definitely recommend it. We skipped breakfast because I don’t eat in the morning. The owner and his colleague were friendly and kept checking that everything was okay and that we had what we needed. If someone has a problem but doesn’t mention it while they’re there and then complains in a review, that’s not relevant to me. Our room was small but perfectly adequate, with towels, toilet paper and soap provided. There’s a shared kitchen and fridges downstairs, plus a communal terrace and garden with a lovely view, children’s climbing frames, a badminton net and somewhere to sit.

The garden and pleasant surroundings won us over as soon as we arrived at Horácko guesthouse. My friend and I had a cozy room with everything we needed, and the owner was very accommodating and helpful. Over drinks together one evening, he helped us plan cycling routes and suggested other lovely places to visit. We were very happy with our stay and will gladly recommend Horácko guesthouse to anyone looking for quiet, pleasant accommodation in the Highlands. Sending the owner our greetings and wishing him many happy visitors! Best wishes, Peťa and Ondřej 🫶🚴‍♂️🚴‍♀️
