The owner was so helpful, offering advice and sorting out several things for us, including things we’d forgotten at the cottage. We had a great winter stay with friends in this log cabin, tucked away in the countryside. It’s a lovely base for walks and cross-country skiing, with beautiful views. We’re keen to return in summer and sit around the fire in the evening.

The setting is beautiful and peaceful, and the host took time to explain, show us around, and offer advice. The stove is brilliant, keeps going for three days and takes meter-long logs. Beds are comfortable, there’s plenty of room even in the attic, and the roasting forks are wonderfully long. We parked several cars without trouble. Despite heavy rain, nothing leaked and the place stayed warm. There’s even an old air rifle for shooting cans and a swing on a beam. We’d definitely recommend a stay in this quiet mountain spot.

We had a peaceful, relaxing weekend and really enjoyed the place. The log cabin is in beautiful mountain surroundings and suits people who don’t need much. Thank you.

The equipment is enough for a nice holiday, though anyone after luxury will need to look elsewhere. For us, it was a great vacation, and the local well has excellent water. The log cabin is surrounded by beautiful nature and quiet, with good access for hikes and trips nearby. The owner was great, no problems.
