You can rent good bikes right there, and the owner is kind and speaks English. The kitchen is fully equipped, with brand-new furniture, and the room was comfortable and very nice. It’s right in the city center, yet still quiet. I liked staying here. If you enjoy palaces and parks, the Lednice-Valtice area is a must-see.

The location was a real plus, with everything close to Šatlava. Our room was lovely and clean, with a kitchenette and dishes, and the owner was very nice. We were grateful for the air conditioning in the hot weather; we probably wouldn’t have managed without it. A nice lady came to replace our towels and such halfway through the stay, and at the end we found a surprise basket of toilet paper in case we ran out :). My only small gripe is that the sockets are in awkward spots: by the foot of the bed, about a meter above the chest of drawers, and under the window, too far for the cable to reach the table. That’s just a detail, though, and Šatlava definitely doesn’t deserve a lower rating.

A lovely lady was in charge, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and stylish, with a kitchen that had what we needed. You can walk easily to just about anywhere in Valtice, including the castle, cellars, restaurants, supermarket, and bakery, all just minutes away. Thanks for a great stay! Escape game fans get an extra bonus, there’s a great escape room in the basement :-)
